PRO-RES Observatory Station is the professional level turn-key astronomical observatory we designed to support research institutes all around the world. PRO-RES Observatory Station is controlled and powered with EAGLE, and it comes with ESATTO focusers, ARCO rotators, GIOTTO flat field generators, ALTO telescope cover motors and ECCO environmental module. PRO-RES Observatory Station includes a dome, up to 5.5 meter in diameter, that protects an observatory class telescope composed by a large computerised mount with pier for concrete base, supporting more telescopes in parallel: a primary telescope (up to 0.6m diameter) with one or more apochromatic refractors. Telescopes are provided with cooled cameras.

By using more telescopes in parallel it's possible to record images of the desired target with the image scale (resolution per pixel) and field of view (degrees) in order to better fit the target type and dimensions. For example it's possible to point the same object and record a high resolution picture and a wide field image. The large diameter apochromatic refractor can be used also for planetary imaging and/or visual use. If the mount is alt-az type, the provided high resolution rotators automatically de-rotate the field framed by cameras to allow record long exposure pictures of deep-sky objects.
PLL Observatory Stations are remotely controlled with the included EAGLE computer that runs Windows, so you are free to install the Windows software you prefer to control all the devices of the telescope, based on your application. You can remotely control the Observatory Station through a WiFi or Ethernet connection, even through the Internet. And you can easily add also security cameras, weather stations and UPS backup batteries.
More, all PLL Observatory Stations are also already provided with PLAY software specifically designed by PrimaLuceLab to simplify the use of all devices and capture pictures. By using PLAY you can align and point telescope to many targets of the included database, precisely focus camera and rotate it in order to frame your desired object, open or close the telescope motorised cap and dome, set camera acquisition settings and capture sequence of images, capture image calibration files for later post-processing and much more!
ScopeDome 5.5M observatory 5.5 meter diameter dome is made from 6mm glass polyester laminate (GFK), which guarantees complete protection against all environmental influences, simultaneously providing a high level of stability and guaranteed longevity. A proprietary special reinforcement rib system on the inside of shell construction, provides additional rigidness. The water tightness of the dome is warranted by a special design of joints and surfaces, that prevent ingress of water or snow in the dome. ATTENTION: Due to its weight, dimensions, special requirements and for safety reasons, this dome can only be ordered with our Installation Service. The 5.5M dome cannot be constructed safely by the customer. Our experienced team is necessary for the proper and safe construction of this dome. Both the 4M and 5.5M domes can not be flush mounted and either need a special concrete ring foundation, or ScopeDome proprietary steel support structure ring system. After the order, we'll give all tech info and a support ring design so your local building contrator can pour the foundation.
